• A clear vision and practical actions to create a high-functioning city government based on trust, accountability, and honesty through mutual respect, open communication, and public transparency

 

My Priorities as Mayor of Davenport

• Hire a long-term City Administrator committed and ready to tackle our challenges

• Encourage responsible spending that maintains our roads, our infrastructure, and our parks and while improving efficiency of government operations and public services

• Promote smart economic growth, small businesses, and a diversity of safe and affordable housing options

• Advocate for ensuring that city codes are stringently and consistently enforced

• Support continued improvements in recruiting fire and police personnel and collaboration between mental health professionals, neighborhood influencers, and police officers

• Collaborate with our sister Quad Cities to address mutual issues, create opportunities, and celebrate successes
